Barbara Mullin
C-IAYT, The Yoga Therapy Institute
Barbara Mullin is a yoga teacher, yoga therapist and teacher trainer with three decades of practice. She came to yoga in the mid-1990s while training as a professional dancer, a background that deeply informs her understanding of how we express ourselves through our bodies. She has been teaching for more than 20 years and in 2022 completed her training as a yoga therapist, earning certification with the International Association of Yoga Therapists. Barbara has served on the faculty of 200-hour teacher training programmes and has mentored students at the Yoga Therapy Diploma programme at Yogacampus in London.
Her yoga therapy sessions draw on a range of practices- movement, breathwork, meditation, and deep relaxation- tailored to each individual's needs. Barbara also considers how everyday choices in the way clients live, rest, and nourish themselves are shaping their wellbeing and goals. Feeling well physically, mentally, and emotionally is something we actively cultivate, not something that simply happens to us. Our intentions, our choices, and our daily actions all matter. With the right support, it is possible to have a real and positive influence on both our situation and our relationship to it.
