Inge Wauters

Certified Yoga Therapist (875h), The Yoga Therapy Institute, Amsterdam

With a background as a nurse and a Master’s degree in Health Sciences, Inge worked for more than forty years in healthcare, mainly in oncology and neurology. As a nurse, lecturer, nurse specialist and team coach, She accompanied people through vulnerable and complex phases of life. These experiences deeply shaped her understanding of what it means to be truly present with another person.

Yoga has been a steady thread since her teens. About fifteen years ago, a natural wish arose to share the simple, accessible tools that had supported her so steadily. Today, she brings together her long experience in healthcare with the therapeutic tools of yoga. She offers one‑to‑one sessions and small groups for people living with oncological or neurological conditions, Persistent Physical Symptoms (PPS), fatigue, post‑viral conditions, pain, or the transitions that come with aging.

Her approach is gentle, spacious and free of performance pressure. she chooses yoga tools with care so they meet someone’s abilities, boundaries and what is present in the moment. This creates a quiet, supportive space where people can reconnect with their body, feel their limits with more clarity, and rebuild trust and resilience in a way that feels natural to them. She's also trained in the Yoga for Cancer methodology developed by Tari Prinster, which forms an important foundation in her work with people living with or beyond cancer. Safety, simplicity and respect for each person’s rhythm remain central throughout.
