Monika Neumann
Certified Yoga Therapist, C-IAYT, 850h, The Yoga Therapy Institute, Amsterdam.

Originally graduated with a Master of Science in 2002 in Budapest, Monika started practicing yoga in 2008 in Johannesburg, South Africa, personally experiencing its transformative and healing power. She worked as a relaxation therapist at the Medical Center of Ternat between 2020 and 2023, as part of a multidisciplinary team helping people recover from burnout. In parallel, she studied at the Yoga Therapy Institute in Amsterdam. In 2023 she acquired her C-IAYT Yoga Therapist degree of 850 hours, certified by the International Association of Yoga Therapists.
Monika works full time as a yoga therapist, primarily focusing on complex conditions such as autoimmune disease, cancer, chronic pain, chronic anxiety, panic attacks, and trauma. Her approach is working simultaneously with the physical body (strengthening, lengthening, balancing, releasing), the breath and the mind, integrating applied psychology into the physical and breathing exercises, and helping to achieve a peace of mind. Monika is dedicated to identifying and building on unique insights in the body-mind interactions of each individual - i.e. how people use and treat their bodies unconsciously, and how their bodies affect their mental states.
