Takis Stavrianos

Yoga Therapist, 580h, The Minded Institute, London.

Takis supports adults experiencing stress, anxiety, burnout, emotional challenges and life transitions through an integrative, whole-person approach to yoga therapy. His work combines therapeutic conversation with mindfulness, breathwork, gentle movement, meditation and other embodied practices. Sessions are adapted to the individual, creating a supportive and safe space to explore the relationship between thoughts, emotions and the body while developing greater self-awareness, emotional balance and resilience.

His approach is collaborative, person-centred and trauma-informed, and is informed by Integrative Yoga Psychotherapy (IYP) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Through this perspective, he supports clients in exploring emotional patterns and protective responses with curiosity, openness and compassion, while drawing on yoga therapy and body-based practices to strengthen self-regulation, navigate uncertainty with greater ease, deepen connection with the body and reconnect with inner resources.

Takis completed the 580-hour Diploma in Yoga Therapy and the Level 7 Diploma in Integrative Yoga Psychotherapy with The Minded Institute in the UK. He is currently undertaking Internal Family Systems (IFS) Level 1 training, alongside further training in Yoga Therapy for PTSD, Yoga and Mindfulness for Chronic Pain, and Therapeutic Yoga for Cancer Care. He also completed 300-hour yoga teacher training. He currently offers individual yoga therapy and talk therapy sessions in Ixelles and Drogenbos, as well as online.
